Air freight is the best fit for urgent, small or high-value parcels. Our Guangzhou warehouse consolidates and packs your parcels and flies them to Malaysia, normally arriving 3–5 working days after payment. Air freight is split into normal, sensitive and tax-included channels, and choosing the right one avoids seizures and unexpected duties. This page covers each air channel, how it is billed, the tax rules and the shipping cut-off.

How air freight is billed

Air freight is billed on the higher of actual weight and volumetric weight, where volumetric weight = L × W × H (cm) ÷ 6000. Light but bulky goods such as cushions or plastic storage boxes often have a volumetric weight above their actual weight, so sea freight is usually cheaper for them.

Air rates already include delivery at the Malaysian destination, carried out by a local courier company. A single piece over 80 kg, or any side over 120 × 100 × 100 cm, must be confirmed with us before shipping.

Will air parcels be taxed?

Standard Air Express is not tax-included. Parcels flown from China into West Malaysia that weigh no more than 20 kg and are declared under USD 100 are 99% not taxed by customs; if a parcel is taxed, the recipient must pay.
Air Express shipments of 30 kg or more may be taxed. For larger loads choose a duty-paid air channel, which is not taxed whether you ship tens or hundreds of kilograms.
If you receive a duty notice, the tax is usually payable on delivery. Contact MYBEST customer service first to confirm the parcel really was taxed.

Sensitive and branded goods

Air freight channels depend on the type of goods. The items below are sensitive goods and must use Air Express (sensitive) or Sensitive Duty-Paid Air. Replica or big-brand clothing, bags and shoes are not accepted by air, and Economy E-commerce Air takes neither sensitive nor branded goods. If sensitive or branded goods sent through a normal channel are held, confiscated, returned or fined, the sender or recipient bears the consequences and the freight is not refunded.

Shipping cut-off and extra services

The Guangzhou warehouse packs from 9 am to 10 pm, and air orders paid before 9 pm ship the same day.
Parcels normally arrive 3–5 working days after payment; remote areas in other states may take about 3 days longer.
Unpacking (removing extra packaging to cut volumetric weight) is available on air channels only.
For fragile items, ask the warehouse to reinforce the parcel (bubble wrap, stretch film, wooden frame and similar paid services); fragile items damaged in transit are not compensated.
